Oghenekevwe Jefia

Program Manager @ Impact Hub Lagos

I am an ecosystem enabler and investment professional working to create an enabling ecosystem for startup founders and entrepreneurs in Africa. I worked across various fields ranging from public policy, startup operations and investments.

In the public sector, I led the content team for the Nigeria Startup Act, a co-created law by the government and ecosystem to unlock Nigeria’s digital economy by ensuring regulatory certainty, creating an enabling business environment, and fostering local innovation to attract investment and create job opportunities. Previously I was the founder of True skin, an AI skin diagnostics solution for skin of color. Quite notably I received support and recognition from organizations like Africa Innovation Fellowship, Nigeria Digital Economic Summit and Cherie Blair foundation for women to name a few.

I am currently working at Impact Hub Lagos as the Project Lead for the LASRIC (Lagos State Research and Innovation Council) Venture Catalyst Project. An initiative by the Lagos state government and Impact Hub Lagos to equip and fund early stage startups in Lagos state.
